GIRA marketed the MT701 as Info-Terminal or Instabus Info-Terminal (0929 00). InfoTerminal Touch (2071 ..) and InfoTerminal Touch IP (2072 ..) are distinct variants. The Control series includes Control 9 Client, Control 9 KNX, Control 9 Client 2, Control 19 Client and Control 19 Client 2. Use the complete article number on the device label for identification; the product name alone does not establish replacement compatibility.

Control 19: SUPERIO with the MS19G mounting adapter
The replacement list specifies DSK19-1-B + MS19G. The MS-19-G mounting guide shows installation in an existing GIRA mounting box marked 2076 00101. Check this marking and the mounting arrangement against your box; other versions require a separate assessment.
For DSK19-1, the May 2024 SUPERIO data sheet specifies a 100–240 VAC supply and two Gigabit LAN ports. External dimensions with the FSK19 frame are 600 × 345 mm. These external dimensions are not the cut-out dimensions for the GIRA box. Frame, adapter and existing wall coverage must be considered together.
Control 9: surface-mounted KNX IQ 08
The replacement list pairs Control 9 with KNX IQ 08. The September 2025 KNX IQ data sheet specifies external dimensions of 225 × 145 mm for KNX-IQ08-IP and KNX-IQ08-TPS, with a projection of 16 mm from the wall including the mounting adapter. Check that the panel covers the existing opening and leaves enough space for connections.
Match the power supply and KNX connection to the variant
According to the data sheet, KNX-IQ08-IP and KNX-IQ08-TPS require 12–32 VDC, with a maximum power consumption of 16 W. Both have a Gigabit LAN port. KNX-IQ08-IP requires a KNX IP router or KNX IP interface. KNX-IQ08-TPS has a KNX TP interface with Data Secure. The generic KNX-IQ08 article code in the replacement list therefore does not replace selection of the exact variant.
Plan the user interface as part of the replacement
KNX IQ uses DIVUS VISION. When replacing an older device, rooms, functions and scenes are configured for the new interface. A mechanical fit does not mean that the existing visualisation can be transferred unchanged. For SUPERIO, establish which client software and existing server will remain in use. Required project files, access details and licences are agreed before installation.
